What we’re reading…
Different: The Story of an Outside-the-Box Kid and the Mom Who Loved Him by Sally Clarkson and Nathan Clarkson. I just started this book a few days ago. It is told by both the mother and the son (who is now an adult). They each give their own perspective on how they got through his childhood struggling with ADHD and OCD. As a parent of a child with SPD, I see so much of my own parenting journey in this story already. A must read for any mama with a “different” child.
What we’re listening to…
Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper’s performance of “Shallow” at the Oscars (on repeat). We can’t stop watching the video, talking about their chemistry, and loving this acoustic version. CAN’T STOP. WON’T STOP.
What we’re watching…
Season two of Very Cavallari premieres this Sunday! Season one had so many meme-able moments. Kristin’s employees are a hot mess. She’s a badass boss mama. And, Jay Cutler is a breakout star. I cannot wait to watch season two every Sunday night for the foreseeable future.
What we’re making…
Greek Turkey Burgers. I love anything Greek, especially after honeymooning in Santorini and Athens, I came back with a newfound appreciation of all things greek, and that was 4 years ago! I was skimming through Pinterest for some recipes for the week and saw these mouthwatering burgers. I was worried they’d be dry due to the ground turkey, but oh no. They’re so flavorful and moist (sorry if you hate the word moist). When I brought them into work for lunch the girls I work with begged for the recipe and are now obsessed too. I’ll be adding these into my rotation of recipes from here on out!

Just ordered that book!! Can’t wait to dive in it!!
I really like it so far! It’s so interesting to see the son’s POV and then the mom’s on the same situations.
