What we’re listening to… The Kate & Mike Show

Kate Northrup is my new obsession. I first heard her on the BossBabe podcast and then moved on to her podcast that she does, weekly, with her husband, Mike. She’s so logical and warm. I love what she has to say and how she says it.

As a work-from-home mama who’s building my business from the ground up, I love to hear her take on work/life balance, growing a business, parenting, and nurturing relationships. I also love the dynamic between her and her husband and the loving way they speak about their little girls. Also, total #goals listening to the details of their lives in gorgeous Maine.

What we’re watching… Unbelievable on Netflix

Trigger warning – this show depicts and describes graphic rape.

This is a story told on 2 time lines about a serial rapist. One timeline follows his first victim and how the rape effected her life. The second timeline follows the two women detectives who ultimately cracked the case and pieced it all together almost 5 years later. It’s compelling storytelling with likable characters under the absolute worst of circumstances. Highly recommend.

What we’re making… Fall Decorations

Last Fall, Sara shared this gorgeous Fall fabric pumpkin decoration with us. I love this craft because it’s super simple and elegant at the same time. I especially love the patterns she picked. So on trend but also classic.
