What we’re listening to… Percy Jackson and the Olympians Series by Rick Riordan on Audible
I’ve been listening to this series all summer with my kids on long rides. We’re currently on the 4th book of 5 in the series. They are long, so we’ve been doing it for a while, but my kids ask to listen every time we’re in the car. The plot is that there are kids all over the country who are half human and half Greek god. They go on all sorts of dangerous quests and adventures. We’ve even watched the first movie together, but the (audio) book was much better. This is a great series for the whole family!
What we’re obsessed with… Citizen Cider’s Unified Press
While everyone else in the country has been downing hard seltzer, I’ve just realized I like hard cider. This has been our drink of the summer. My husband and I discovered early in the summer that we both like this! Now, we no longer have to buy beer AND wine when we want to relax. It’s also quite refreshing. Highly recommend.
What we’re watching… The Boys on Amazon Prime
This came recommended by a friend and I am really liking it. So is my husband! That’s the tricky thing, we like to watch shows together at night but we can’t always agree on what to watch. This show is about superheroes, so it appeals to my husband and there’s tons of drama and intrigue that keeps me hooked. The one downfall… Chase Crawford is so unlikeable, and I don’t love that.
