What we’re reading… More for Mom by Kristin Funston

I haven’t finished, yet, but I already love it. It is very uplifting, casual, and I feel like I am chatting with a close friend. It is a super easy read. What we’re listening to… Sinisterhood Podcast

I recently wrote a post about my obsession with true crime podcast. The response to that post opened the floodgates of suggestions. This podcast came highly recommended by our contributor, Kayse. It does not disappoint! I would listen to these two ladies talk about anything, like ANYTHING (and, basically, I have). They did 4 episodes last November about the Kennedys and they were my favorites. But, this week, they started dropping Ted Bundy episodes, so, ya know, that might be changing, soon. What we’re watching… Dead to Me on Netflix

Christina Applegate’s character is a widow. She meets Linda Cardellini’s character at a grief support group. Craziness ensues. I’m only half way through the 10 episode season, even though it is a super easy watch since each episode is only 30ish minutes. TBH, I’ve been able to predict every crazy twist so far… but I’m sort of at a point where I don’t know where it will go from here. Let me know, is it worth finishing? No spoilers, though!

What we’re making… Cookies

We’ve had quite a bit of rainy weather here over the past few weeks. My favorite thing to do with the kids when it rains is bake. I love this cookie recipe from our contributor, Sara. It is easy, kid friendly, and yummy!
