What we’re watching…
Late to the party, here, again… but I just watched both seasons of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel on Amazon Prime. We just subscribed (I know, super late to that party, too) and this is the first show we’ve watched. The seasons are short, only 8-10 episodes each and there are only 2 seasons, so far, so we blew through it. It is so funny. Like, actually laugh out loud at times. My favorite character is Midge’s dad, Abe, played by Tony Shalhoub. I see so much of my own father in this character. I also love the clothes and the apartments. To die for.
What we’re reading…
MENDED: Restoring the Hearts of Mothers and Daughters by Blythe Daniel and Helen McIntosh. This book is great for mothers, daughters, mother-in-laws, daughter-in-laws, whether your relationship is strong or a struggle. We are currently running a FREE GIVEAWAY of this book on our Facebook page. Also, keep your eyes peeled for a review of this book in the next few weeks on our site.
