What we’re thinking about… September
There is a lot going on in September! September calls our attention to PCOS Awareness, sustainability, as well as literacy. This week on the blog, we had three great posts, one by Heather detailing her personal struggle with PCOS. Another by Claire giving sustainability tips and podcast recs. And, a post about National Literacy Day (today) by Jessica W. Check both posts out, below.
September also brings a new school year, it’s self care month, and on September 11th, Remembrance Day. Keep your eye on the blog, this week, for posts on each of those topics.
What we’re watching…Schitt’s Creek on Netflix and the Pop App
I can’t stop loving this show. I have to be honest, I watched the first episode on two different occasions and never made it to the second episode. I just couldn’t get into it, it seemed so over-done and cliche. This summer, I made it to episode 2 and binged 4 seasons in a matter of a couple of weeks. It’s hilarious, clever, and heartwarming. The characters are so aloof and selfish that they somehow become loveable. I’m waiting in anticipation for Netflix to get season 5.
What we’re making… Steak with Girl Boss Hollandaise Sauce
This very well might be the last weekend of grilling for this season. We went out with a bang by grilling up some yummy steaks. We don’t eat beef, here, often.. But when we do, we do it up. We topped our grilled steaks with Sara’s Girl Boss Hollandaise sauce recipe.
