What we’re reading…
In last week’s post, we mentioned the Simple Ayurveda podcast. In one episode, Angela recommended the book Eat Feel Fresh by Sahara Rose Ketabi. It arrived on Monday and I can’t put it down. It is part cookbook and part information on living an ayurvedic life. The pictures in this book (not just the food pics) are completely stunning. I’ve already tried three recipes (all delish) and I’ll share my favorite (so far) below.
What we’re listening to…
Comments by Celebs Podcast I’ve loved these ladies since I started following them on Instagram a while back. They make me laugh and I am a total sucker for celeb gossip. If there Insta account isn’t enough for you, give the podcast a listen. They have fabulous guests, who they don’t interview and instead just gossip with. Some of my favorite podcast guest have been Kelly Ripa, Katie Couric, and Jill Kargman.
What we’re watching…
Seven Seconds on Netflix If you are ready for a good crime drama, give this a view. The issues are very current. You’ll find yourself yelling and the screen and you likely won’t finish the show feeling satisfied. But, it will get you thinking. Plus, recent Academy Award winner, Regina King, is amazing in anything, she could act her way out of a paper bag. It’s only ten episodes, so you can knock this out in one weekend.
What we’re making…
Chai Pancakes. As I mentioned, I am loving the Eat Feel Fresh book. I tried this spiced pancake recipe today and it is yummy. My 5-year-old agrees. The recipe made about 12 pancakes. The texture was not odd at all (which I had prepared myself for) and the spice blend was just right. We topped ours with fresh strawberries, chocolate chips, and the tiniest maple drizzle.
