This movie was so cute!
My kids starting watching it at school on their last day before the holiday break but they didn’t have time to finish. So, we watching it that night at home. It basically seems like the girl version of ELF. Anna Kendrick is the female Will Farrell. It’s got a very 2019 female empowerment message.
I’ll probably watch it again with the kids and it was a nice break from watching all 3 Home Alone’s on repeat. But, I’d rather watch Christmas Vacation over it any day.
Unrelated, my husband is insisting Die Hard is a Christmas Movie. What’s your take on this debate?
What we’re listening to… White Christmas Movie Soundtrack on Spotify
White Christmas is one of my favorite holiday movies. Bing Crosby’s super smooth voice brings me back to listening to his album on Christmas Eve at my parents house when I was growing up. On Spotify, I can get the combo of my fav holiday movie with my fav holiday carols.
Honestly, if Bing Crosby singing “I’ll be Home for Christmas” doesn’t bring a tear to you eye, do you even have a soul?
What we’re thankful for… as we close out 2019, we’re thankful for ALL OF YOU
As we close out 2019, we can’t help but to reflect on how lucky we are to do what we love. Ur Basic Mom has seen so much growth in the past year and we owe it to all of our loyal followers and especially to our fabulpus contributors.
In 2020, we’ll be adding contributors to our team and we’ll be starting a new community for our followers. Stay tuned for more info on both!
