What we’re obsessed with… Wanderlust Festival
OB-SESSED. This was the most well-organized festival I have ever attended. It was the anti-Fyre Fest. From the ease of scheduling to the signage and shuttling, not a detail was missed. Aside from the pure organizational magic, the classes, workshops, and events were all killer, too. I yoga-ed, I meditated, I ate delicious food, shopped cool brands and products, and rocked out to great music. This festival was so well done and has made me a raving fan. I will be back next year.
What we’re listening to…Deep Energy 2.0
I get my best sleep when I drift off to this podcast. Shout out to the sleep timer on the podcast app. There are definitely episodes I like better than others. The guided meditations aren’t really my thing. I tend to go back to my favorites pretty regularly… Stillness of Winter and Trail Spirits. Give these a listen for some super restful sleep.
What we’re watching…Murder Mystery on Netflix
Coming in at just over an hour and a half, this was such a light, easy, but still entertaining watch. I love Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston. Now, those that know me know that, in my eyes, Adam Sandler really can’t do any wrong. Of course, he’s had his Jack and Jills… but the Billy Madison’s, Big Daddy’s, and Airheads far outweigh that misstep. Murder Mystery is, by no means, something I’m going to be quoting 20 years out, but it entertained my whole family for an hour-and-a-half on a Sunday night… and for that, I am grateful.
What we’re making… A vacation packing list for the whole family
We’re headed on the road today for 2 weeks. I’m kind of a pro at road tripping solo with my two kiddos (check out my tips, here)… but I am still not a pro at packing. I stress for days and always forget important things. I’ve spent all week making lists and checking them twice. This time, I found this handy-dandy packing check-list from Jac of All Things. It’s been super helpful with getting my mind organized. Fingers crossed I remembered everything we need.
