Hors D’oeuvre
Tea Sandwiches – to make these mini, bite sized sammies, you’ll need your favorite sliced bread. You can remove the crust with a knife or a cookie cutter. Make sure each of your slices are the same size and shape.
Cucumber Tea Sandwiches
Ingredients:
- White Bread
- English Cucumbers
- Garden Herb Cream Cheese
Directions: Prep your bread slices. Slice your cucumber. Take one slice of bread, smear cream cheese on it. Layer on top a cucumber slice, and another slice of bread.
BLT Tea Sandwiches
Ingredients:
- White Bread
- Bacon
- Tomato
- Mayo
Directions: Prep your bread slices. Slice your tomato. Fry your bacon. Take one slice of bread, smear mayo on it. Layer on top a sliced tomato, another piece of bread, a piece of bacon, and then another slice of bread.
Caprese Tea Sandwiches
Ingredients:
- White Bread
- Mozzarella
- Tomato
- Fresh Basil
Directions: Prep your bread slices. Slice your tomato and slice the mozzarella. Take one slice of bread and layer on top a sliced tomato, another piece of bread, a slice of mozzarella, and then another slice of bread. Top with a basil leaf.
Cocktails
Bridgerton Tea (Virgin or Spiked)
Ingredients:
- Passion Fruit Tea
- Splash of peach juice
- Coconut cold foam
- Strawberry puree
- Add a shot of vodka (optional)
Directions: Mix together tea, peach juice, and vodka. Top with coconut cold foam and strawberry puree. Serve over ice
Blueberry Thyme Lemonade
Ingredients:
- Lemonade
- Blueberry Thyme simple syrup (½ cup sugar, ½ cup water, handful of blueberries, 1 sprig of thyme)
- Vodka (2oz)
- Prosecco
Directions: Combine Lemonade and simple syrup. top with prosecco.
Desserts
The Duke’s Ice Cream Sundae
Ingredients:
- 2 Scoops Vanilla ice cream
- Chopped Strawberries
- Chopped Walnuts
- Carmel
- Whipped Cream
- Maraschino Cherry
Directions: Scoop vanilla ice cream into a bowl. Top with chopped strawberries, chopped walnuts, caramel, whipped cream, and a cherry on top.
Sweetheart Cookies
Ingredients:
- ½ cup of sweet butter1
- ½ cups of flour
- ⅓ cup sugar
- 1 egg yolk
- Your favorite jam
Directions: Combine all ingredients (except jam) in a bowl. Form round balls out of the dough. Press in the center with your thumb to form small wells. Fill the center with your favorite jam. Bake at 350 for 12-14 minutes. Dust with powdered sugar.
