With the weather starting to warm up this Peach Margarita is the perfect thing to enjoy while watching your kids play outside or after they go to bed. I fell in love with Peach Margaritas after I took a trip with the kids to Palm Springs last year. I enjoyed it frozen; it was massive and hit the spot while the kids played in the pool.
Let’s get this Fiesta started!
What you will need:
2 ounces of your favorite tequila
2 ounces peach nectar**
2 ounces of lime juice
1 ounce simple syrup (recipe in the notes)
1 ounce fresh orange juice
Now it’s time to get shaking!
Pour everything into your cocktail shaker and shake away. Then pour over ice, and enjoy. It’s up to you whether to sugar/salt the rim or not. I prefer no sugar or salt.
If you would like to make a frozen margarita, put it all in the blender with a cup of ice and blend it up.
**If you are in peach season, blending up some fresh ripe peaches would be even better than the store bought canned stuff.
Now you are good-to-go and can enjoy your Cinco de Mayo with a Peach Margarita!! Don’t forget your Creamy Jalapeno dip and some chips! And if you aren’t into peaches, then check out our Pomegranate Margarita recipe!
**Simple Syrup Recipe**
1 cup water
1 cup sugar
Place water and sugar in a saucepan and bring to a boil. The sugar will dissolve. Once sugar is dissolved, turn off the heat and let it cool. Once it is cooled, you can put in a jar and it is ready to use. Keep it in the refrigerator and it will keep for a couple of weeks.
