Super Bowl LIII between the New England Patriots and the Los Angeles Rams is this weekend and I, for one, am totally ready! Just kidding, I had to Google who’s actually playing. The great thing about Super Bowl Sunday is that, if you love football, music, good food or parties, there is something for just about every mom to enjoy.
And, if after all of that you’re still not into it, well, read on to the end for a mind-blowing Super-Bowl-Sunday-Viewing-Party-pro-mom tip.
Erin B.- My favorite part of the Super Bowl Sunday is watching the game (I love football). I enjoy having a few beers (because football), the GOOD Super Bowl commercials and most of all, the fun with our little football buddy! Oh and the yummy Super Bowl Sunday snacks are a good addition 😉
Erin- I’ve always been into football. A playoff game was what actually brought me and my SO together. The Super Bowl game itself is always a blast to watch. The snacks and commercials are generally good, too. Creativity and competition; now that’s entertainment to me!
Heather- Super Bowl Sunday has always been an experience for me. From the game itself, to the amazing food, and the friends and family that sit around the TV together–I just love that warm feeling I get as the day plays out.
Stephanie J.- We don’t watch the Super Bowl, but we do Google the Super Bowl Halftime Show. We loved Lady Gaga’s and Katy Perry’s Super Bowl Halftime performances.
Jessica W.- We’re not big on watching sports in our house; however, the Super Bowl is the exception. Personally, I could take or leave the game itself, it’s the snacks and viral Super Bowl commercials that get my attention. We usually have a ‘snacky’ kind of supper filled with lots of wings, dips, and popcorn. This year we plan to move our super unhealthy feast into the living room and make an indoor picnic out of it as we watch Super Bowl LII I this year!
Sara- Superwhat?!? We don’t really watch the game nor the commercials. I know, so un-American. We don’t have our TV hooked up to watch the Super Bowl live, so we tend to miss a lot. But that gives us plenty of time for other fun things.
Jennifer L.- I only watch the Super Bowl if my favorite team, the Arizona Cardinals, are playing. And that game has only happened once in the entire history of the Cardinals franchise: 2008.
Now for the promised Super Bowl pro mom tip, courtesy of Claire: Go Shopping during the game!
I use the Super Bowl as an opportunity to go shopping! Stores are far less crowded while everyone is somewhere else watching the game. Last year, we went to Costco on Super Bowl Sunday and we practically had the store to ourselves! No crowds. Hallelujah!
