Join the UrBasicMom Team in 2020!

Are you a mom? Do you love to write?

Do you want to join the UR Basic Mom team? Well, it’s your lucky day!

We are continuing to expand through the winter of 2020! We will be adding to our team of regular contributors beginning in February and we’re looking for new, fresh, regional voices!
 
This is a volunteer position (with some fun perks to make it worth it).

Here’s what’s up…

Your Contribution:

1. One original post a month on a topic of your choice (within the brand and mission of Ur Basic Mom). As well as any pictures you would like included in the body of the post.
2. Twelve month commitment, beginning in February 2020 (with the option to renew).
3. Available for one virtual team meeting per month (format: Facebook Live with an occasional Zoom thrown in).
4. Share at least 2 of the UR Basic Mom blog posts on your social media accounts each month (any two you pick- can be your own and one other).
5. Occasional contribution to a team collaborative post. For example: a few sentences, a picture, a link to a recommendation. Ex: Reading List, Gift Guide, etc.

What You Get in Return:

1. We handle all things WordPress, SEO, layout, and featured image.
2. Your photo and bio on the Ur Basic Mom- Meet Our Moms page (with links to your personal blog and/or Instagram handle if you choose to share them).
3. Access to the Ur Basic Mom Contributors Facebook group (beginning in February).
4. Opportunity to test products for review as they come in (to be posted on UR Basic Mom – and your personal blog, if you choose).
5. Access to information and professional development in the areas of writing, blogging, SEO, and social media.
6. Lots of laughs and inside jokes with the UR Basic Mom-team.

Things to Keep in Mind:

1. We will not sensor your topic, language, or post; but we may caution you if we think it might cause backlash.
2. This is a great opportunity for a mom who loves to write and wants to have a voice but doesn’t have time, energy, or know-how to manage a personal blog.
3. This is also a great opportunity for moms who currently have their own blog to gain exposure in new markets.
4. We are a group of women supporting each other as bloggers and mothers.
