Enneagram Gift Guide for All 9 Personality Types

Posted on December 7, 2019May 29, 2021 by The Basic Moms

There are many personality tests out there, and the latest one everyone is crazy about is the Enneagram test. There’s an “official” test you can pay for and take here or you can find some free ones the next time you search Google.

We’ve put together a gift guide for your family, friends (or yourself) based on Enneagrams!

Type 1 – The Reformer

Type 1’s are known for their perfectionist personality traits. They also tend to be very ethical and purposeful. Check out these gifts for your type 1 friends:

Bees Wrap

Reusable Glass Coffee Cup with Cork Band

Type 2 – The Helper

Type 2s are your most caring and generous friends. They like to please everyone and keep everyone happy.

Tell the helper in your life to take a much-deserved break with these bath bombs:

Did you know everyone’s favorite online retailer sells plants? That makes it easy to send your Type 2 friends their dream plant, like this Monstera:

Type 3 – The Achiever

As their name suggests, type 3’s are very success-driven. They are also known to be adaptive and care about their appearance.

This coffee mug will be a hit with their love for traveling.

And this daily activity pad will help them keep track of what their goals are.

Type 4 – The Individualist

The Individualist is often viewed by others as being sensitive and withdrawn. Once you get to know them and they feel they can trust you, you have earned a friend for life.

Type 4s can be pretty artsy, and the art lover in your life would love some new supplies like these watercolor pencils:

Or these real pressed flower earrings:

Type 5 – The Investigator

Type 5’s love a good mystery to solve or things that are super useful or that can be used for multiple things. Consider them the “Swiss army knife” of the Enneagram.

Check out the New York Times Best Sellers Nonfiction List for their next book, like Catch and Kill by Ronan Farrow:

Or something they will find super useful like a handheld cordless vacuum to get to messes everywhere:

Type 6 – The Loyalist

As their name suggests, type 6 people are committed to what they believe in. Deep down, type 6’s just want to feel safe and secure.

Help them out with something they might not have tried yet – a weighted blanket:

Bring back the nostalgia with this Trivial Pursuit 2000s Edition:

Type 7 – The Enthusiast

The Enthusiast can be seen as “scatterbrained” but spontaneous. They are always busy with something but still enjoy their downtime.

Inspire their next spontaneous vacation with Lonely Planet’s Ultimate Travel Guide:

They would love some fancy pens to write in their gratitude journal:

Type 8 – The Challenger

Type 8’s are known to be powerful and dominating. They are also very confident in their actions and can come off as confrontational. Type 8’s love to be in control. This includes being in control of their gifts. A gift card to their favorite store or for an activity they love will be very appreciated.

They will also love this book about awesome women:

Type 9 – The Peacemaker

The Peacemaker of your friends is usually the one to go along with whatever you suggest. They are very easy-going and usually avoid conflict. They want to hear they are appreciated.

Type 9s will love this book on mindfulness:

And these kitchen towels will put a smile on their face:
