Tomorrow, we celebrate Thanksgiving. We will likely gather around a table filled with food, surrounded by our large extended family, immediate family, or friends who’ve become family. So, what better time to reflect on all of the things for which we are grateful.
We asked out contributors to share a little bit about what they are thankful for this year.
Stephanie J.- I am thankful for sleep, my daughter, and food. Last year I was pregnant during the holidays and couldn’t eat because I was either nauseated or got heartburn!
Jessica W.- I’m thankful for my hard-working husband, my daughter who is constantly creating, the preschooler who sleepily whispers a mispronounced “I yove you mama,” and grandparents that make their grandkids a priority. I’m also thankful for self-timers and four smiling faces looking at the camera at the same time.
Kayse- I am thankful for the late nights and early mornings of motherhood. I am thankful for sticky messes and milestones met, messy living rooms and toys in the tub. I am thankful whenever I place my hand on the chest of my sleeping children and feel their hearts beating strong. I am so lucky to have them, know them, love them and watch them grow.
Erin B.- I’m thankful to be spending time with my main men… a new experience this year for us, as we will be having our first family Thanksgiving at home. Lord help me, the last time I cooked a turkey we had to trash it 😂😆❤
Jenn N. – I am thankful for slow mornings, books that I don’t want to put down, endless cups of tea, and the privilege of spending my days traveling and exploring with two of my favorite people.
Heather B.- I am thankful for God’s unwavering faith in my strength and perseverance. I’m thankful that he has trusted me to be the mother to my 4 blessings and the voice for them in their challenges. Last, but definitely not least, I am thankful to be blessed with a true partner who supports me and encourages me every step of the way.
Erin – I’m thankful for a community that feels like family and the support that comes with it. We are so lucky to have close friends, loving family
Sara-
Jennifer L.- I am very thankful for our new life in California’s Central Coast. It is so beautiful here, the weather is amazing, and many family adventures await!
Claire- I’m thankful for family, health, cuddles with my boys, caring friends and family, caffeine, new opportunities and all the messes, laughs and love that come along the way 💜
Stephanie W.- I’m thankful for my health. I’ve been sick with different things over the past 3 weeks and I miss being 100% healthy. It makes me grateful for my health and makes me realize not to take it for granted! I’m also thankful for my family and for the wonderful trip to Disney we were able to give to our children 💕
Chelsea – I’m thankful to be able to do what I love every day, working with kids and then coming home to my family. I’m grateful for the life we have built and what’s to come!
