Hey gals, Jillian Rosado of the Jillian Rosado Blog here and I’m back again (not that long since my last post) for a super important cause! Every October, I am a HUGE supporter of shopping for a cause in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness! I know, I know, the ultimate anti-pink gal loves her some uber-pink picks?!? I just love supporting a great cause!
Research is the reason there are more than 3.5 million breast cancer survivors in the U.S. and deaths from breast cancer have declined by nearly 40% over the last 25 years. But with 40,000 lives lost to the disease each year, there is still critical work to be done. (BCRF)
What does that have to do with this post? Well, anytime you purchase an item from this roundup, a donation will be made to various foundations in support of the cause!
Gym Rats and Barre Babes:
Show your support in these super cute high-waisted leggings and matching sports bra – they’re on sale too! Don’t forget your Swell bottle in this BCA print!
Beauty Addicts:
Grab an oxygenating face mask, a fun collection of pink makeup, a few new makeup brushes or some pink lipsticks for that pout. I know you makeup junkies don’t need any nudging to hit your local Sephora, but these are all for a GREAT cause, just in case!
Fashionistas:
Show your support right on your chest with this Fight Like A Girl Tee, on your shoulder with this perfectly pink purse or crossbody, start an arm party with this pale pink watch and sparkly bracelet and adorn those ears with one (or more!) pairs of sparkly studs!
Girl Bosses:
You ARE powerful, brilliant and brave, so show that off while planning your hustle each week with your own personalized notebook or planner, wear your pink proud while sending Thank You notes to your customers and grab this fun little pouch to throw in your work tote so you don’t lose those headphones and other stuff!
Lastly, ignorance is NOT bliss! Be sure to assess YOUR risk with this quick quiz.
So those are my fave picks in support of Breast Cancer Awareness month – be sure to spread the love and awareness!
Why is this important?
Every woman with breasts and ovaries faces some risk of breast and ovarian cancer. On average, 1 in 8 women will develop breast cancer and 1 in 75 women will develop ovarian cancer. That’s way too many women to just ignore this!
